Nancy Dashwood
(Winsted, MN)
Nan's life-long theater addiction began in kindergarten when she played one of the Three Little Pigs (she got big laughs when she jumped into the oven to hide from the wolf). She enjoyed acting during her years at St. Peter High School, where her roles ranged from the innocent, such as the biblical Eve, and the heroine in the melodrama "Pure as the Driven Snow," to the tough Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan in MASH.
In the ensuing years, Nan earned a bachelor's degree in education and a paralegal degree. Most importantly, she raised two delightful and theater-loving/acting children. Upon moving to Winsted several years ago, Nan immediately became enamored with the FungusAmongus Playes. She is delighted to serve on the board of directors, and is immensely proud of FungusAmongus’ hard work and dedication to the arts.
Nan works as a staff writer and advertising consultant for Herald Journal Publishing.
