Tickets for "Flavio Betrayed: A Commedia" now on sale!
Tickets are now on sale for our Fall production of "Flavio Betrayed: A Commedia"! We have also added a 7th performance, a Saturday matinee on October 17 at 2PM. The cast and crew are working hard on this production, and there have been many laughs at rehearsal. Take a look at the cast list below as well as pictures from our recent rehearsals.

Join Fungus for Red Rooster Days parade on Saturday September 5
Fungus will once again be participating in Red Rooster Days parade this coming weekend. All Fungi Alumni are encouraged to attend and pass out our season bookmark! The parade will be Saturday September 5 at 2PM. Wear your favorite Fungus swag or show shirt and line up with us prior to the parade. Line up information will be posted on our Facebook page prior to the parade.
Auditions for "An O. Henry Christmas" set for October!
Auditions for our Holiday production of "An O. Henry Christmas" will be held October 14 and 17 at the Dassel History Center. Please click the link below for more information.

At the Dassel History Center
After escaping wrongful imprisonment, a mysterious storyteller enters an abandoned railroad spur on the outskirts of New York City, Christmas Eve, 1893. In exchange for some hobo stew, "O.P." entertains a rag-tag mix of seemingly lost souls by spinning a few tales, and in the process rekindles the spirit of giving. He magically transforms the crew into players to stage O. Henry's "The Last Leaf" and "The Gift of the Magi," and others. Wordplay, trickery, sentimental holiday fare, this is a heartwarming alternative to all of those Christmas carols.

Fast*Fest 2026 Recap!
The FungusAmongus Players had to honor of performing the production of "In the Attic" by Stephen Massicotte at Fast*Fest 2026 along with 13 other theatre's from across Minnesota. The one day festival was held at Theatre in the Round Players in Minneapolis. While there are no awards given at the festival there were many complimentary comments given to the cast and directors during the talkback which was held following the performance.

Monthly Script Readings to Return this Month
Our monthly script reading will be held on September 20 at 4PM at the Dassel History Center. The public is always invited to attend and participate and help us decide on shows for future seasons!

You don't need to be on stage to have fun with FungusAmongus. For example, we're always looking for:
AV Club members - learn to run sound or light for our shows!
Stage Managing / Crew Members. Do you want to help behind the scenes with the magic that goes on during the show? Help manage the stage and the set during our productions!
Treat wranglers. Could you bake some yummy bars for us to serve at intermission? Could you serve those treats and coffee at our shows?
Stud sensors. Can you drive a nail, or paint a wall, or perhaps work some interior design magic? Our set-building crew is looking for you.
Board Member - Are you passionate about community theatre and want to "make it happen" behind the scenes? Then serving on our Board of Directors may be for you! We are particularly looking for community members with marketing, fundraising, and business acumen to join our ranks.
